A pair of padded mittens made from cotton.

The top of the gloves are padded with the padding getting thinner at the tip of the fingers to make the gloves easier to close. The palm of the gloves have no padding except for a thin layer on the thumb.

Also good for making your mail gloves for late Viking / Norman and Crusader reenactment.

The gloves are comfortable to wear and close around the handle of a weapon without inhibiting control of the sword. The gloves are suitable for light sparing and training. For heavy combat we recommend gauntlets with steel plate protection to minimise concussive force injuries.
